Earth’s Return

The way the waves roll

They sway and lull,

Orbs prance through the air,

Then fall to an underwater lair;

I place Earth in my palm,

And for once

She sighs,

And she calms;

Float away dear Earth,

Parting is such sweet sorrow,

Someday we shall meet again,

In an infinity,

Or perhaps tomorrow
